Breathe, Play, Pause – An Introduction to Mindfulness Practices for Preschool Children and Their Parents

Shabbat (Saturday) Mornings, Oct. 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 23

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Jewish Mindfulness Center of St. Louis

During these interactive, play-based sessions preschool-age children (ages 3-5) and their parents will learn mindfulness techniques in a Jewish setting that can easily be incorporated at home. Mindfulness practices and Jewish rituals help children and families to:

  • Increase our sense of calm and decrease stress and anxiety
  • Expand our ability to concentrate and focus
  • Improve impulse control
  • Learn to express greater compassion for self and others
