Achat Sha’alti – One Thing I Ask
A Musical Interpretation of Psalm 27

Lucy Greenbaum musically unpacks one verse of Psalm 27 (the traditional psalm we recite during the days of Elul), asking the important question, “If you could ask only one thing of God/the universe/the world, what would it be?”

The musical setting was composed by Chava Mirel.

A Meditation on Psalm 27

In this 8 minute meditation, Rabbi Andrea Goldstein shares an interpretation of Psalm 27 (the psalm traditionally read each day during the Hebrew month of Elul leading up to the High Holy Days) as a way to explore what is most essential to the heart as we contemplate the upcoming days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
