Twice a week, throughout the year, the Jewish Mindfulness Center of St. Louis will offer the opportunity to participate in a weekly meditation sit. Led by members of the Jewish Mindfulness Center’s core team, these sessions are appropriate for beginning and advanced practitioners. Each sit will begin with a short teaching focusing on the weekly Torah portion, an upcoming holiday or a particular middah (Jewish value or ethical personality trait). Participating in community sits can inspire us in our unique meditation practices, and we know that spending time in silence in the presence of community can be deeply gratifying. All are welcome to these free community sessions. We hope that you will join us.
